Matrimonial finance cases often with an international dimension, generally for high net worth and ultra high net worth clients, involving complex offshore trusts, tax issues and corporate structures;
Private Children Law, including:
- Disputes over living and contact arrangements
- Domestic and International Relocation
- International Child Abduction and Hague Convention Proceedings
Priya is Head of the firm’s Family & Private Wealth Department.
Priya has experience in dealing with ultra high net worth individuals and has advised clients with assets in excess of £300m. She also works closely with offshore trustees and family offices.
Of particular note, Priya has considerable experience in private international family law. She regularly advises clients who are either based abroad or have assets in various locations including: Angola, Belgium, Belize, Bermuda, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Dubai, France, Grenada, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Kenya, Liechtenstein, Monaco, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, USA (various states).
Priya is married with one child. She has a wide range of interests, but particularly enjoys travel and going to the theatre. Priya is also a keen tennis player and is a member of Moor Park Tennis Club.
Priya sits on The Law Society’s Small Firms Advisory Committee, using her knowledge and expertise to assist in setting the agenda to provide strategic advice, practice insights and deliver support for the legal sector.
