Freedman Green Dhokia is a boutique law firm based in St Johns Wood, London. We employ specialist lawyers in a variety of fields. We mainly act for high net worth individuals and those who are in the public eye. Why? Lawyers 

Successful candidates will have experience in dealing with high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals. They will be highly motivated and driven, with excellent business development skills.

Our Training Programme

At Freedman Green Dhokia, trainee solicitors can qualify through either the LPC or SQE route.

Our lawyers provide a nurturing environment, for trainee solicitors, in what can generally be a rather rigorous process. Our trainees will be given the opportunity to have regular client contact and they will directly assist on complex matters with exposure to high profile clients.

We are looking for hardworking and ambitious individuals who have a desire to build a career in the law.

Graduates must have a strong academic background with a minimum 2.1 degree class. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their interest in our practice areas, soft skills and commercial awareness.

We are currently accepting applications for our 2025 and 2026 intakes.

LPC Route

Trainee solicitors qualifying through the LPC route will be required to undertake a two-year training contract (full-time or equivalent). During this period, you will gain an understanding of the practical implications of the law and the skills required to be a solicitor. You will have the opportunity to work one-to-one with a Partner, gaining knowledge, as you rotate through each seat.

SQE Route

Those undertaking qualifying work experience (QWE) will similarly be required to complete at least two years’ full-time (or equivalent) QWE.

QWE can be completed either before, during or after you sit your SQE assessments. By undertaking QWE at our firm, you will gain practical experience and the opportunity to develop some or all of the competences needed to be a solicitor.

During your period of QWE, you will have the opportunity to work one-to-one with a Partner as you rotate through the departments.

FGD Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme 

We are now offering you the opportunity to join the FGD Solicitor Apprenticeship Programme in association with the University of Law, Bloomsbury.

Our programme allows you to study for an LLB degree in Legal Practice and qualify as a solicitor, whilst working in the office, without incurring university fees. The course spans over a period of six years. During this time, you will spend four days per week working in the office, receiving hands on practical training and exposure to a variety of cases and transactions different fields. The remaining day of the working week will be allocated to you as your study day. You can spend this day studying at home or in the library at the University of Law. In addition you will receive additional study days during assessment periods.
